Professor Conor Murphy is the Chair and Professor of Ophthalmology at the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences and a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital and Blackrock Clinic in Dublin. He specialises in disorders of the cornea and uveitis. His principle surgical interests are cataract surgery and corneal transplantation, especially anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) for keratoconus and corneal stromal disorders and endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) for endothelial corneal diseases.
