Caroline Baily is a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin, appointed in 2018.
She graduated with honours from UCD Medical School in 2003. She was awarded a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Ophthalmology in 2007, Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009 and Fellowship of the European Board of Ophthalmologists in 2014. She underwent her postgraduation Higher Surgical Training in Ophthalmology with the Royal College of Surgeons and Irish College of Ophthalmologists in Ireland from 2013-2017.  She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2017. She then completed a Fellowship in Medical Retina in Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester, UK from 2017-2018.
